Job Location: Media, PA

Hours Committment: June - August: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) AND September - December: Minimum of 20 hours per week

The Merchandising Intern will work with the Merchandising Manager and Merchandising Project Manager to support ongoing projects; such as new store openings, resets, remodels and merchandising tests. This intern will maintain the remodel and new store websites on MyWawa.

Principal Duties:

  1. Update the new store and remodel webpages on MyWawa, communicates changes and resolve scheduling conflicts with key stakeholders. Provide stakeholders with updated schedules and timelines when openings are delayed.
  2. Assist with the implementation of website updates, monitor usage and provide coaching to website users.
  3. Partner with Store Operations, Supply Chain, Space Planning, & F&R teams to analyze and communicate out of stock trends & closing stock levels.
  4. Perform routine & ad-hoc analysis on data inflows from the field merchandising team to support greater new store, remodel, and category reset initiatives.
  5. Monitor and report budgetary spend through Expensenet portal, Mobile Carrier & Merchant Fleet partners in support of Merchandising Supervisors.
  6. Review and analyze category resets based call center tickets.
  7. Continuously improve standard reports for monitoring and forecasting performance.
  8. Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Studying toward a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
  • Retail Experience Preferred - ability to understand planograms & floorplans
  • Knowledgable in spreadsheet-based analytical tools and other PC applications
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge with Sharepoint and/or MyWawa website a plus
