The Opportunity

Gaming Housekeeper & Racing Cleaner Positions Available

Under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, clean assigned areas, halls and restrooms in accordance with the Company’s applicable Operational Standards.

  • Stocks housekeeping carts with supplies
  • Transports cleaning materials to assigned areas for cleaning
  • Thoroughly cleans assigned areas and restrooms according to department procedures
  • Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenishes supplies in all rest rooms and offices per Company procedures
  • Interacts on occasion with guests while cleaning guest areas and meeting rooms. Assists guest as needed.
  • Reports maintenance repair problems to Supervisor
  • Ensures all lost and found items are turned in to the Security Podium on a daily basis.
  • Maintains an hourly restroom checklist
  • Ensures sanitation guidelines are maintained
  • Ensures all stock rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized
  • Maintain floors, carpet and entry way, keeping free of debris and dirt.
  • Thoroughly cleans VGM Machines if applicable and cleans glass doors
  • May need to be trained on operating floor stripping and waxing machines
  • May need to be trained on operating rug shampoo machines
  • Conducts final walk-around to assure that assigned areas meet Company Standards

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to follow direction and instructions
  • Guest service oriented
  • Ability to read instructions for cleaning products & communicate on radio with supervisors and team members
  • Ability to understand and follow OSHA guidelines

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED or TASC preferred
  • No experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift, frequent climbing of stairs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
  • Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces

Environmental Working Conditions:

  • Regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Occasionally works in outside weather conditions
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
  • Noise level may be moderate to loud

  • 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
  • Schedule will include weekends & holidays

Part Time Evening Shift - 1 position available

  • 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
  • Schedule will include weekends & holidays

Gaming Housekeeper

Part Time Evening Shift - 1 position available

  • 5:00 pm - 1:00 am
  • 22-30 hours per week - work days TBD
  • Schedule will include weekends & holidays
