Description
The Recruitment Strategy Manager leads the transformation of our restaurant culture into one that actively and successfully recruits great candidates on an ongoing basis. S/he is the driving force in defining and bringing our employment brand to life, so that we can attract top quality, high-potential candidates and ensure that our current top performers stay and grow with Chipotle. The Manager also creates company wide candidate sourcing strategies and materials for use by all of our teams. Additionally, s/he works closely with the Recruiting Strategist and Operations Leadership teams to assist in the execution of regional recruiting plans, including hard-to-fill markets and New Restaurant Openings.
Responsibilities
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing and managing international and domestic employment brand and strategic recruitment advertising programs
- Ensuring recruitment advertising and sourcing strategies align with current and future workforce needs
- Defining and promoting Chipotle’s employment brand to reinforce our People Culture with the goal of attracting high performing candidates
Recruitment Advertising Strategy
- Developing company wide recruitment advertising strategies
- Working closely with the Recruiting Strategist team to create and implement regional recruitment plans to find and hire outstanding applicants for current and future restaurant needs
- Identifying new and effective recruiting sources including new technologies and grassroots recruiting tools and partnerships
- Creating unified recruitment campaigns and building employment brand awareness through advertising - utilizing multiple sources for candidates
- Leading a team of recruiters to support the company’s salaried manager and support staff recruiting efforts
- Driving strategy and vision for salaried manager and support staff recruiting efforts
- Working closely with regional and department leadership to forecast workforce needs and deploy adequate resources to meet candidate sourcing needs
- Managing relationships with outside agencies and third party recruiters assisting with these positions
Budgeting and Vendor Relationships
- Preparing national budget allocations for recruitment advertising and candidate sourcing efforts
- Managing relationships with vendors and monitoring spend to ensure that we are maximizing our return on investment
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong passion for and strong understanding of the Chipotle people culture
- Have clear written and verbal communication, organization skills
- Has the ability to develop strong credibility with everyone
- Be self-driven, proactive, and persistent
- Possess strong project management skills and a track record of getting things accomplished quickly and effectively
- Have five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in HR with recruiting experience
- Have experience with ATS software, preferably Taleo
- Have experience in creating national recruitment campaigns, building brand awareness through recruitment
- Be proficient with a PC and MS Office
- Enjoy moderate travel
