Maintenance Electrician
LOCATION: NE Portland
SALARY: $20-$30/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a new opportunity to join a growing company in Portland, OR? Due to growth and expanding operations, our client is seeking Maintenance Electricians with beverage manufacturing experience. These are full-time opportunities offering competitive pay and great benefits! Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines, equipment, devices, PLC controllers, robots, conveyors, etc. Maintains, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs electrical systems, electrical and electronic components, and apparatus of industrial manufacturing. This includes high speed packaging machinery, panels, circuits, motor controls, devices, instruments, PLC controllers, and other electrical systems in a commercial food beverage production facility. All tasks follow Oregon State electrical code, manuals, schematic or line diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, electrical and electronic test equipment. Maintains the day to day operational efficiency for all production and packaging equipment and ensures the production of a safe and legal product intended for consumption.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts and have the following education, certifications, and licenses:
Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Actively licensed in the State of Oregon as an: General Supervising Electrician (S), Limited Supervising Electrician (PS), General Journeyman license (J), Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ), or Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME)
A criminal background check and/or drug screen may be required.
