Job Summary

We are currently seeking an analytical, team oriented individual for a full-time Maintenance Technician position. Primary duties are to maintain and repair plant production equipment while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures. Organizing and maintaining storeroom inventory is also required. Ability to coordinate with production to ensure timely repair of equipment is essential, therefore, one must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, basic pneumatic, and hydraulic understanding, welding experience, and CNC and PLC systems experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This position requires that objects such as motors, pumps, welding equipment, etc. be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to maintain and repair production equipment throughout the plant
• Support operations by ensuring proper electrical functioning of plant equipment and machinery through preventative maintenance and overhauling when necessary
• Assist with plant maintenance, repair, and installation operations
• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, replace defective parts as needed
• Assemble, install, test, and inspect machines and equipment
• Maintain storeroom inventory
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Working a flexible work schedule including working different shifts and weekends as necessary
• All other duties as assigned
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Requirements

• Possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Experience with CNC and PLC systems
• Basic computer familiarity
• Good organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, lift,  bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently, as well as kneel or crawl
• Must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.). The plant is not climate controlled.
