Aerotek is looking for several full-time experienced Aircraft Painters to join their client as long-term employees. This position offers the opportunity for advancement and growth with a stable organization!

- Pay Rate: $30.00-$34.00/hr

Summary:
- Paint corporate jet aircraft from start to finish
- Will read from blueprints, drawings, and sketches, and verbal instructions to layout and paint aircraft
- Overview of painting process required:
- Prepare for chemical strip
- Sand
- Apply primer
- Guide coat
- Putty seams and rivets
- Prep for base application
- Apply base coat
- Detail/finish
- Clean up for delivery (quality and finish are extremely important) - Will follow FAA guidelines in accordance to OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to complete the whole paint process of an aircraft from start to finish as detailed in job description
- Must have 1-2 years minimum of aircraft painting experience, ideally 3+ years
- Must be able to use all painting tools (sanders, spray guns, etc.)
- Must have experience with aircraft paints (mostly use PPG, Sherwin Williams, Dupont)
- Must be comfortable working any shift
- Must be comfortable working mandatory OT (10-15hours/week)
