Position Summary:

The CTPAT Specialist will oversee all functions of the Security CTPAT and Social Compliance area. This person will ensure the adherence to all company processes and government recommendations of the C-TPAT and Social Compliance programs ensuring the company and its business partners are compliant at all times. The Import CTPAT Specialist will also develop and implement CTPAT training materials as well as track all import shipments to ensure audits on file are current and communicate with vendors and/or business partners as needed. This position will provide support to the entire Burlington Stores Import vendor community as well as Burlington’s Import Department and other internal departments as needed This position requires solid knowledge of US Customs Supply Chain Security Program., the CTPAT program as well and Social Compliance criteria. This position also will interpret audit reports ensuring required performance criteria is sufficient and in accordance with Company’s established Country Risk Assessment matrix.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Import Supervisor in maintaining, verifying and implementing US Customs documentation as well as all revalidations. Develop and maintain import CTPAT and SC compliance training; schedule training and maintain training materials and records.
Maintain the regulatory compliance databases and track CTPAT/SC reports for all factories/consolidators.

· Maintain files, reports and/or metrics as required by company procedures and government regulations. Generate a quarterly/yearly Import analysis report (based on Import Excel data); generate a KPI report for the Factories/Vendors.

· Create and Maintain records of all CTPAT and Social Compliance audits as well as track expiration dates for factories/consolidators and report to Burlington’s Freight Forwarders on a weekly basis. Create and execute corrective action plans as needed.


Education:

• Associate degree or higher, preferably in international business. Five years of direct experience in lieu of Associate Degree

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant academic training or three years comparable experience.
• Ability to function in a fast paced environment.
• Basic knowedge of merchandise classification and Customs compliance.
• Computer related order entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Self motivated, detail oriented, team player with a can-do attitude, who has the desire to succeed.
