Product Test Engineer

Our client is looking for a product test engineer! This company develops and manufactures wireless data acquisition systems for harsh environments.

The position consists of performing complete reviews of R&D projects before the product announcement process can start. The review includes:
* Documentation : R&D documentation, Manufacturing procedures, test procedures, BOMs, cost analysis
* Functionalities : Conformity to the specifications
* Life Test : Reliability study using Highly Accelerated Life Test resulting to an announcement decision.
* Stress Test : Implement Highly Accelerated Stress Screening methods for the manufacturing and testing processes
- These responsibilities will take up 70% of the job

The remaining 30% of the job will be working directly with the R&D team and manufacturing technicians to help answer and technical questions about the tests and ultimately improve product assembly by identifying post manufacturing errors. This will require good knowledge of electronics.
