Production Planner

We are currently seeking a reliable and dependable permanent employee at a manufacturing company in Arvada, Colorado. Someone who is considered a Water Spider in LEAN manufacturing facilities.

Job Description

The Production planner will be responsible for continuous improvements, problem solving, part identification and organization, inventory management, and processing necessary paper work.

Skills and Abilities

• Primary goal and duty will be to identify and eliminate supply chain challenges and issues on the shop floor.
• Responsible for staging materials for welders and assembly work stations through project completion.
• Will need to have mechanical aptitude and be able to pay strong attention to detail with quality recognition.
• Responsible to check for missing parts in Assembly and Test department and replace/log inventory for credited/debited parts.
• Will act as Planner for parts and part distribution to work stations. Runner to track down parts, restock parts, bring parts to the work station/s multiple times to restock.
• Previous procurement and/or production planning experience required
