General Production Worker

2nd - 2pm-10pm
3rd - 10pm-6am

Machine Operators are working straight eight hour shifts with a ten minute paid break and a 20 minute paid lunch break.

Automatic Press Operator
-Operating and monitoring the metal stamping automatic presses.

-Prepare presses and work sites for set up. Follow set up instructions when setting up presses.

-Set up presses within all press categories, including preparing and adjusting straighteners; preparing, loading and adjusting feeders; aligning stock; assisting with transfer system set-up (adjusting finger positions, installing and homing rails, and setting pitch;) and preparing next set up (clean slugs and bolsters, and obtain fixtures).

-Operate the automatic presses, following general operator instructions and the control plans, including reading, understanding and completing all production paperwork, and reading, following and completing tags.

QUOTAS AND RATES
Each candidate's quota that he/she needs to hit on the machine is tracked during the day on the computer. Candidates know exactly how well they are hitting rates at all times and the quota number they need to hit.
