Teen with chronic illness- dysautonomia (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome- POTS) has difficulty with nausea, balance and waking up for school each morning. Currently taking at-home school online in the afternoons, but should go to school each day as she is able. Has a very hard time in the mornings and needs a caring, but firm and motivating, caregiver to get her upright and moving each day, to encourage her in getting back into school routine on an abbreviated schedule (school by 11 a.m. each day). has some attention issues, mostly executive function/organizational dysfunction. Some experience with chronic illness, and psychological aspects of it, is preferred.
