Loan Processor needed for Credit Union in Downtown Portland
LOCATION: SW Portland
SALARY: $15.37-$20, depending on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Credit Union in Downtown Portland has an immediate need for an associate in their Member Loan Center. This is a full time opportunity working Monday through Friday 9am-6pm. Must also be available to work on Saturdays as the schedule may eventually include working occasional Saturdays.Position will require performing all activities associated with the processing of non-equity consumer loan applications, including screening for compliance, verifying terms, conditions and rates, verifying documentation provided meets loan conditions (if applicable) and preparing accurate loan documentation, funding and boarding the loan. The loan processor communicates with member applicants to explain products, services, and programs, and assist in gathering complete application. The loan processor coordinates with vendors and team members to ensure the efficient and effective processing of all loan requests. The Loan Processor provides exceptional member service while ensuring proper data collection and compliance with Federal, State, Credit Union and Agency regulations and requirements. Verifies product eligibility, terms, conditions and rates, ensures application information is complete and accurate and that loan documents and approval conditions are satisfied prior to funding the loan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and organization skills, and someone who is computer savvy. Banking experience is preferred but not required.
