Optum Payment Integrity (OPI) serves entities liable for medical expenditures (payers/ insurers, employers, government agencies and risk-bearing providers) to help them become more efficient and effective in paying claims. They do this by identifying, reviewing and resolving aberrantly billed claims. Our solutions help clients ensure payments for health care claims are paid correctly, by the responsible party, for eligible members, according to contractual terms, free of error or duplication, and without fraudulent, wasteful or abusive practices. These solutions contribute to a more efficient, effective and affordable health care system.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze and report on financials
Assist in the development of program forecasts, budgets, and plans
Research economic progressions to assist with the organization’s financial planning
Create annual budget templates
Prepare spreadsheets to effectively show financial results and financial forecasts

Requirements


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, and/ or Mathematics

Intermediate proficiency in Excel

Demonstrated ability to take leadership and initiative
