You will support medical, lab test, quality measures, and care management content in market - leading analytics. You will contribute to various project teams. You will support consulting projects that require nursing, informatics, and quality measure expertise and make fact-based, data-driven decisions. Primary Responsibilities: 

Perform as the subject matter expert and second-tier support contact for a market-leading healthcare risk and care management software solution 
Provide nursing, care management, and quality measure expertise in the development and implementation of licensed software solutions and projects related to health care cost, risk, care management and quality-of-care 
Work with methodologist and medical directors to facilitate the incorporation of clinical data sources into analytical solutions
Develop process or content improvements to existing analytic software solutions
Oversee and participate in analytic product testing and validation activities
Develop or review various clinical codesets for analytic software solutions
Provide nursing expertise to projects led by consulting, data science, or machine-based learning teams
Participate in daily SCRUM calls as a team contributor to work being scaled & worked on
Participate in product User Acceptance Testing

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Hold a nursing degree with an active, unrestricted nurse license in the state you are practicing
1+ years of experience as a practicing nurse in the United States
1+ years of working directly with clinical and/or pharmacy claims data and medical taxonomies
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products
Must live in a commutable distance (50 miles or 50 minutes) of Minnetonka, MN or Boston, MA or be willing to relocate without assistance
Preferred Qualifications:

Project management experience or certification
Possess recent knowledge and/or experience in quality measures (e.g., STARS, HEDIS, State Measures)
Demonstrated experience using Access or SQL
Experience using Optum Symmetry Suite or Optum Impact Suite applications
Experience working within a managed care environment from either a payer or a provider perspective
