Retail Shift Manager

Bustling franchised 7-Eleven store, 15 minutes Northeast of Mechanicsville, IMMEDIATELY seeking energetic, friendly, reliable sales associates for full time (30+ hours) and part time (29- hours) positions: FIRST SHIFT (typically 6AM-2PM), SECOND SHIFT (typically 2-10PM) and OVERNIGHT SHIFT (typically 10PM-6AM). Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, polite, sensitive to customer needs, team oriented, and able to multi-task at a fast pace. Candidates must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, proof of U.S. citizenship (original or government issued copy of Social Security card), wireless communication accessibility, and be dedicated to fulfilling a pre-arranged work schedule. Reliability is a must! Flexibility a plus. Management experience encouraged. Retail experience sought, but willing to train person with similar successful experience, great people skills, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic. A typical workday will include engaging customers, cashiering, plus selling, preparing food, cleaning both inside and outside the store, stocking (must be able to lift at least 30 pounds), ordering, checking in vendors, and basic computing. Work shirts provided, but employee expected to furnish appropriate pants (clean, whole jeans/khakis) and closed toe shoes. Employee appearance important! No visible tattoos or facial jewelry preferred. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, a drug test, and a credit check, as well as provide current contact information for recent past employers and references.
