Job Overview:

As a CenturyLink Administrative Assistant level 2, under minimal supervision and acting on own initiative you will performs advanced administrative support for Executive level managers. Assignments typically involve work of a confidential nature and require extensive knowledge of department, business unit and company practices, policies, programs and product lines.

Job Responsibilities:

* Assembles and analyzes information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, correspondences and memoranda.

* Coordinates activities across departments.

* Operates general office equipment.

* Is versed in working in a corporate environment requiring the ability to multi-task in a high pressure sales environment.

* Technical expertise in electronic submittal and logging of contracts with a sense of urgency and in some cases very short deadlines.

* Composes, prepares, edits and proofreads memoranda, reports, spreadsheets and other correspondence (this work is of a critical nature and often confidential).

* Independently researches and obtains information for complex reports and special assignments.

* Answers telephones, screens calls and forwards messages.

* Coordinates calendars for meetings, ensuring appropriate timing of commitments and timing between meetings and calendar conflicts.

* Schedules equipment and conference rooms and makes travel arrangements.

* Files, sorts, tracks and distributes information.

* Orders office supplies and processes invoices.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of related experience in specific area or equivalent.

* Minimum of 2 - 4 years administrative support experience in a large Corporation Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

* Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and excel spreadsheets with pivot tables from scratch.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and requests from multiple people at any given time.

* Strong communication (oral and writer), interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a deadline driven environment with little or no supervision.

* A broad knowledge of departmental and company practices, policies and programs in a Corporate environment.

* Must be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to requests.

* Must be able to establish internal network of resources to assist in day to day questions and requests.

Preferred Qualifications:

* College degree and industry experience will be considered over other candidates.
