Staffmark currently has an opening for a talented individual to fill the role of a Plant Controller in Fayetteville, Ar. In the role of Plant Controller you will:





Prepare and coordinate Annual Operating plan, monthly forecasting cycle, variance reporting,as well as managing the Capital acquisition process


Support estimates to price new business, cost containment analysis, other profitability analysis as directed.


Prepare or assist with preparation of return on investment analysis, ensuring the analysis is sound. Review all contracts and commitments for proper accounting that the plant has in place or is considering.


Ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) internal controls are followed correctly. Coordinate SOX and financial audit testing at the facility.


Ensure that audits are performed timely, accurately documented, and exceptions are resolved by adjusting procedures to ensure future compliance.


Alert plant management and accounting staff of critical issues or weaknesses.


Oversee the preparation of all journal entries and ensure that all have appropriate back-up.


Ensure all facility staff are trained properly and adhere to accounting policies and procedures.


Periodically review procedures for proper compliance and function.



Support Team members in defining and reaching financial goals of the business.


Perform monthly close, including all reconciliation and review activities.


Ensure all financial deadlines are met.


Perform other assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. • Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing facility. • Prior Controller or Accounting Manager experience. • Proven analytical abilities, including strong accounting/financial, budgeting, business planning, and forecasting skills, with solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • CPA/CMA preferred.
