Area Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: Here you'll lead a team charged with revolutionizing the entire customer experience while driving an award-winning business. You must have a steady employment history with McDonald's as well as Hamburger University training completed, multi-unit supervisory experience and a proven track record of success. Only current or former McDonald's managers and supervisors will be considered. This job will require the selected candidate to hit the ground running immediately within the McDonald's system. Are you a Ray Kroc award winner or nominee? Awards are a big plus with us.

Job Requirements:

· Graduate of Hamburger University

· Seven years or more experience with McDonald's

· Currently employed by McDonald's as a Store Manager or already a District Manager / Area Supervisor

· Fluency in English and Spanish

The successful candidate will:

· Supervise 2-3 General Managers and even provide front-line, hands-on support

· Grow sustainable restaurant sales and guest counts and profitably to meet and exceed targets

· Identify restaurant capacity constraints, guest count and sales growth opportunities and be able to develop and execute an operationally sound mitigation and growth plan

· Coach General Managers, Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers to adopt capacity and sales building mindsets as well as provide ongoing education on areas of restaurant profitability

· Lead successful deployments and ongoing execution of national and local sales building initiatives to drive sales and Brand Leadership

· Ensure all restaurants meet and exceed McDonald’s high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness and including Food Safety standards

· Ensure management and crew at all levels are being developed and that individual performance plans and reviews schedules are in place

· Lead the recruiting, selecting and on-boarding of managers and crew to ensure high quality talent is in place across all restaurants

· Engage the local community to further develop community support initiatives where possible

· Demonstrated a consistent record of achieving and exceeding operations standards

Restaurant General Manager

Job Responsibilities: This role would suit an experienced and driven General Manager, who is looking for their next challenge. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ management experience, within a fast food industry is REQUIRED. No "job hoppers" please.... No more than 2 jobs held within the past 5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership from day one to build your business. You will drive the sales and performance of the restaurant. You will support the Store Manager in ensuring the efficient running of the restaurant in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will also provide leadership, coaching and direction to all crew members to ensure there is an engaged, motivated and skilled team who are customer focused. Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. You need to be willing to work most weekends (and have 2 days off during the week) and a variety of different shift patterns including very early mornings and late nights. Fluency in English and Spanish required.


The Assistant Manager responsibilities may include provide leadership, coaching and direction to all crew members to ensure there is an engaged, motivated and skilled team who are customer focused. Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.

Some managers also lead Departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.


The Guest Service Department Manager responsibilities may include making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are done well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the

Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.


The Kitchen Department Manager responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast, that food is always safe, that food cost is controlled, and that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items that are added to the menu.


The People Department Manager responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. This manager’s responsibilities may also include making sure Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and that they are recognized and motivated throughout their time working there.


Shift Manager

Job Responsibilities: As a Shift Manager, you will support the management team in the day to day running of the Restaurant in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will support the team by leading by example with an enthusiastic and adaptable approach. You must be a team player with a will do attitude and be committed to exceeding customer expectations. You'll be someone who is open, outgoing, up for the challenge and has good people skills. On top of that you're the type of person who goes the extra mile and always looks for what they can learn from other people. As this is a people-led business, you'll be a good listener and a team player who is adaptable, open to change and open-minded. You’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with each area of the restaurant and be a really quick learner. A logical mind and great people skills are really important too. You need to be willing to work most weekends (and have 2 days off during the week) and a variety of different shift patterns including very early mornings and late nights.
