Job Title: Outlet Receiving Associate, Bloomingdale's Outlet Stores

Overview:

The Outlet Receiving Associate's primary objective is in supporting the service vision and to assist in driving sales by ensuring that the merchandise is received, processed and made ready for the selling floor with the greatest sense of urgency and efficiency. The Receiving Associate is responsible for performing various tasks that support store operations, including: merchandise handling, stock processing, stockroom organization, and POS transactions. May periodically work sales floor.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provides an outstanding shopping experience by way of primary logistical responsibilities, as well as being courteous and respectful when engaging with the customer when on the selling floor.
• Supports and administers receipt and dispatch of merchandise and supplies according to company standards. Process merchandise ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment of the sales floor. Reorganizes merchandise as needed to maximize stockroom space. Maintains high back-of-house standards. Takes initiative to maintain the highest levels of organization and efficiency.
• Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by Management.
• Participates in floor restocking and replenishment to maintain high visual standard. Participates in visual directives including promotional setups, to help provide the optimal customer experience.
• Assists in pricing changes and mark-downs; reports any register/POS issues as appropriate.
