Banquet Set Up - Full-time / Part-time

Our Exciting Work Environment

Nestled in the southernmost foothills of Upstate New York’s Adirondack Region, surrounded by 2,200 acres of lush, natural beauty, The Gideon Putnam is the only hotel located within the park and provides guests with the opportunity to get away from it all.

We offer more than 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor , and 124 guest rooms, including 22 suites, six with screened porches overlooking the park.

The Opportunity

We have newly opened, exciting opportunities available in Banquet Set Up. 

Responsibilities

 

• Set up tables, chairs, and other supplies 
• Service continental group functions
• Restock all items and products in area as needed
• Ensure cleanliness of banquet rooms and surrounding areas
• Properly dispose of and return set-up materials to designated area
• Adhere to all standards to ensure guest satisfaction
• Serve and communicate with group contacts in friendly and efficient manner
• Effectively communicate with other staff members (i.e. Sales Department)

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
• Proven ability to multi-task and take direction
• Ability to work as a team and independently
