POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Treasury Analyst's primary role is to support the Corporate Finance team with the analysis, development, and execution of The Home Depot’s capital markets activities. Responsibilities include daily oversight of The Home Depot’s investment portfolio, FX trading, support for debt issuance and share repurchase activities, and creation of ad-hoc analyses for senior management.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Providing analytical and administrative support for some or all of the following:
  • 35%-Prepare financial forecasts for The Home Depot and its subsidiaries. Execute investments, FX trades, and manage hedging programs
  • 35%-Manage recurring treasury reporting and prepare compliance documentation. Manage bank accounts/documentation and bank fee analysis
  • 30%-Resolve store related customer service issues. Utilize banking systems and banking related technology. Special projects
NATURE AND SCOPE
  • This position typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager
  • This position has no direct reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with corporate finance and capital markets concepts
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and basic book accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to distill detailed data and communicate effectively
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
