Responsibilities:Build monthly open to buy & open to spend by region, by category plans

Partner with Merchandise Planning to share regional hind-sights to ensure needs are covered during the assorting processPartner in the global roll-up of investment & sales resultsBuild forecast sales, margin and inventory turn relative to plan and LYProvide regional perspective to influence financial forecast Support Director with Buying to continually manage the business through in-season analysis and tactical adjustmentsSupport Director with Merchandise Planning, Allocation & Buying to build promotional calendar by regionSupport Director with Allocation to suggest optimal distribution based on trendSupport Director with Allocation to execute liquidation strategiesPartner with store ops on workload forecast based on strategic in-season activityAnalyze and suggest flow of merchandise in store based on trend within regionSupport Director in weekly business review on specific regional nuancesPartner with Allocation on alpha and deviation management to optimize store productivityEffectively manage and supports the career development of a direct report to ensure job satisfaction, retention and to identify and develop bench strengthEstablishes cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence; fosters teamwork

Skills and Requirements At least 3-5 years' experience as a Planner or equivalent required

At least one year of supervisory experience required

Bachelors degree required

Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Previous management experience demonstrating strong leadership, team development and strong cross functional relationships

An understanding of the fashion garment production process

Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment

Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written

Excellent time management/project skills

Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail

Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands

Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner

Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
