Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Opening!!

This position will be a 2nd shift supervisor position!

This position is with a fast-paced, high-volume production environment!

This company is looking for candidates with exceptional leadership skills, great technical and analytic ability, organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to multitask!

Job Duties:

• Overseeing 30+ production associates

• Oversee daily activities on the floor, including safety, quality, and production.
• Training of employees in 5S and measure compliance. Work with engineering department daily to increase yields and decrease scrap.

• Work with engineering department daily to increase yields and decrease scrap.
• Work with engineering department to help utilize different welding techniques to assemble parts more efficiently.

• Scheduling and planning paced work efficiently in order to meet daily, weekly, project or production goals.
• Motivate employees to hit daily and production numbers.
• Work with maintenance department to schedule and plan preventative maintenance on production equipment.

• Ensure productions numbers are met and product is being run when needed.

Requirements:

• Must have automotive manufacturing background
• Supervisory experience
• Lean manufacturing
• Ability to adapt to fast paced environment
