About this job
Assists the HR Manager with daily clerical functions in the store; to include: completing new hire paperwork; copying; filing; data entry Position responsibilities:
1) Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
2) Completes “new hire” paperwork for new associates
3) Assists with, and helps coordinate the S.T.A.R. program
4) Completes Data entry for new associates, pay increases, associate reviews, etc.
5) Maintains “confidentiality” with all sensitive information
6) Performs filing, copying and other clerical duties as needed
7) Assists with planning and implementing Associate activities
8) Gathers data & information, and prepares certain reports as needed
9) Coordinates and schedules appointments as needed
10) Handles customer and associate questions and requests
11) Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies
12) Follows all Company Policies and Procedures
Education and/or Experience
High School education or equivalent experience
Mathematical Skills / Reasoning Ability
Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
Physical requirements
Able to stand for extended periods
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
Other duties & assignments as needed.
