 We are seeking a lead solution architect for our growing clinical solution architecture team. The lead clinical solution architect will be responsible for owning and driving innovative technology solutions for key blue chip UHC programs across a diverse portfolio that spans all lines of business. The program-level solutions will address various UHC clinical business strategies like Patient Centered Care, Population Health, Case and Disease Management, Utilization management etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to lead, create and own solutions for blue chip programs in the clinical domain
Drive JAD sessions and design and architect solutions across various technology platforms
Serve as a liaison between business and technology organizations
Estimate project cost and assist business counterparts in selecting appropriate solutions based on budget and business constraints
Evaluation of new technology frameworks and creation of prototypes / pilots / MVP(s)
Interface with C - level executives across business and IT to gain consensus on approach
Represent UHC Clinical IT architecture during all phases of the program, including post - deployment
Ensure stakeholder requirements get captured clearly and assist with prioritization of requirements
Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and goals
Identify and communicate impacts to enterprise architecture roadmap and manage the implications of those impacts
Domestic travel required no more than 10% of the time
Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience designing and developing technology solutions across a variety of technologies and frameworks (.Net. Java etc.)
2+ years of integration experience with EMR systems for custom and industry standard data exchange standards (HL7 / CCD / CCDA etc.) and transport protocols (SFTP / DIRECT etc.)
3+ years of experience as a liaison between business executives and technology organizations
3+ years of experience leading design sessions and developing and architecting technology solutions across business functions
Prior work experience evaluating new technology frameworks and creating prototypes
Deep understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration
Agile development experience

4+ years of integration experience with EMR systems for custom and industry standard data exchange standards (HL7 /CCD / CCDA etc.) and transport protocols (SFTP / DIRECT etc.)
8+ years of experience as a liaison between business executives and technology organizations
8+ years of experience leading design sessions and developing and architecting technology solutions across business functions
3+ years of experience evaluating new technology frameworks and creating prototypes
2+ years of experience with creating and driving innovation projects
Prior management experience with architectural teams
