Aerotek is looking to hire a qualified shipping clerk for one of Nassau County's top pharmaceutical companies. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for picking and packing of lab materials based off an order sheet
Work within warehouse and possible refrigerated area
The ability to properly read and navigate the order sheet will be a day-to day job function. The order sheet will list what needs to be picked and how it should be packed for the day.
Pick, check, and pack orders and ensure proper application of product expiration date
Maintain warehouse inventory and keep area clean and organized
Computerized shipping is a big plus as the company utilizes FedEx and UPS Worldship.
This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Team of about 5-10 warehouse/S&R employees
Nice, large, clean facility
Will be working in 2-3 different areas within the warehouse/production inventory area. (1 of which is a refrigerated area)
1st Shift
Port Washington, NY
Looking for 1+ years of any picking & packing/Warehouse experience is preferred
Ability to read and write and follow written procedures and SOP's
Computerized Shipping is a plus. (FedEx and UPS Worldship is the program that they use).
