About this job

The Department of Design and Construction is responsible for the design, production of documents, construction and project management of new facilities and remodels for our restaurant and office properties.  The department is also responsible for remodeling and reimaging projects for the 450+ existing restaurants that are owned and operated under multiple brand names in 17 states.  Further, the department provides support to other factions of the company such as the operations team in the facilities management capacity, the legal team in property actions, the accounting team in auditing and insurance matters, and the executive team.

Responsibilities:

•    Work under direction of the Design Manager 
•    Manage building projects including new construction and remodeling
•    Prepare construction documents in AutoCAD 
•    Manage work of interns and consultants
•    Provide support to the Director of Construction
•    Travel to sites to verify field conditions and provide construction administration services as needed
•    Provide reports to Director of Design on project status, construction schedule and budget

Requirements

Job Requirements:

•    Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Windows applications
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Strong communication skills including written and oral 
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•    Strong time management skills
•    Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changes effectively
•    Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Experience Requirements:

•    Degree in architecture, architectural drafting or engineering required
•    Architectural Registration not required
•    Experience 5-10 years in architectural projects
