Maintenance Technician - OK Grocery

Warehouse Tech Maintenance is responsible for repair of all equipment within the building and all building maintenance functions in a safe and efficient manner.

REQUIRED: Flexibility in scheduling with the availability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary.

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery. Mechanical and electrical equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes and ammonia refrigeration system.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and powered equipment using electrical, electronic testing equipment and hand tools.
• Listens and observes operation of machines and equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems.
• Installs, programs and repairs automated machinery and equipment.
• Designs and facbricates machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools and improves exisitng efficiencies.
• Maintains and repairs Distribution Center building and grounds using hand and power tools, hoists and cranes.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other machine parts using pressure washer, brushes, grease gun and gear lubricant dispenser.
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
• Operates cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Assembles, installs and maintains pipe system and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, wire schematics and technical manuals.
• Maintain detailed summary sheets of tasks performed with regard to preventative maintenance, diagnoses of problems and repairs performed on equipment.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed and assigned.
