Responsibilities

Clean designated and assigned areas and procedures. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping (occasionally stripping, applying floor finish and buffing) hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces.

* Check in promptly at beginning of scheduled shift in proper uniform attire. Prepare cart and equipment and go to assigned area.

* Pull all trash first from assigned areas.

* Clean occupied tenant/owner suite per established daily procedure.

* Clean corridors, elevators, stairwells and lobby per established daily procedure.

* Clean central (public) restrooms and suite restrooms daily.

* Clean occupied tenant suites and/or areas per weekly procedure.

* Clean all corridors, elevators, stairwells and lobby per established weekly procedure.

* Monthly detail cleaning may include the following not all inclusive procedures.

* Damp dust mail chutes, fire alarms and bells, etc.

* Construction/renovation cleaning shall be done per directions of supervisor or property manager. (Not inclusive).

* Follow basic, established safety and infection control procedures.

* Participate in in-service training and staff meetings. Comply with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

* Education: Minor on-the-job training or familiarization may be required.

* Experience: Some experience, minimum of six months, in housekeeping position.

* Preferred Experience: A hospital or medical office building.
