Responsibilities
Documentation is provided by ensuring that the patient rhythm strips measures PR-QRS and QT intervals with rhythm/rate. Ensures that the information is legible, concise, accurate, objective and timely, while meeting hospital standards. (Report sheets between shifts and have problem/intervention sheets)Leadership is provided by directing and coordinating assignments and care given by team members based on staff competencies, experience and scope of responsibility. Participates in identifying opportunities to improve patient care delivery, including collecting data, monitoring and implementing changes.
Enhances the learning opportunities to other staff, and by effectively contributing to the orientation of team members. Communicates malfunctioning equipment to BioMed and nursing leadership. Maintains accountability of unit activities through timely completion of education, reviewing email/fliers and participation in huddles. Limits absences and tardies in accordance with HR Policy.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Mercy provided Basic Arrhythmia Class to be completed prior to independently working in the monitor room
