  • Strong financial systems background (Enterprise Financial Systems, Sales Force a plus)
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

The Billing Operations and Partner Payments Analyst will be a part of a team dedicated to developing, implementing and monitoring payments related to Sling’s partners. The ideal candidate will be process oriented, have an analytical mind, and enjoy analyzing data to make recommendations for improve the business. The right candidate will have a track-record that supports success in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is necessary.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

 

Operations

  • Perform monthly audit of payments made to Sling partners
  • Balance partner payment issues needs with business objectives
  • Engage internal and external teams across functions (Partners, Finance, Legal, Accounting/Tax, etc.) to develop and implement processes around commonly encountered payment issues

Strategy & Risk

  • Benchmark existing and new policies to industry best practices and develop, execute, and enforce policies and procedures around accurate partner payments
  • Explore tools to automate, enhance and change the partner payments process

Process improvement

  • Identify areas of opportunity in partner payments processes and develop efficiencies to shorten lead times and reduce cost
  • Collaborate across teams where necessary to improve and adapt systems across the business to respond appropriately to customer needs and industry trends

Reporting

  • Assess and recommend improvements to existing reporting and develop new reporting to inform management decisions and track metrics
  • Analyze and measure results against forecast and plans for partner payment metrics
