Automation Personnel Services is seeking numerous Construction employees who are available to start immediately.
The purpose of this position is to produce high quality concrete product with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Essential Job Functions are stripping forms by pulling finished cured goods off of forms and loading onto trailer. Cleaning forms after product is removed using a scraper, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc. Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or 'stressing' rebar strand, tying mesh, and installing imbeds including plates, vectors and core walls) and setting side rails. Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling concrete. Finishing concrete using various tools/methods such as smooth float, steel trowel, brooming, raking and power trowels to achieve a desired finish.
You must be able to follows instructions, guidelines and procedures timely and accurately. Daily, help with plant clean up/housekeeping including putting away tools, sweeping debris and cleaning cluttered areas. Adhering to safety standards.
Non-Essential Job Functions are operating machinery, driving yard vehicles including truck, trailer, tractor and/or Tucker on company grounds.
The qualifications are ability to get to work on time, on a daily basis. Ability to work outside year-round. Background and drug screen are required.
