We have a full-time opening for a Receptionist.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

  • Must have 1 or more years experience.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Background check required.

The individual in this position provides the first impression of the agency to the public and is responsible for maintaining a welcoming and functioning front desk for the agency. Performs multiple office functions including reception (greeting and welcoming clients and members of the public), medical record keeping, computer related tasks, and other administrative duties. The nature of this position is extremely fast-paced, involving regular multi-tasking and patient and staff interaction.


Job Functions (May Include)

  1. Reception:
    • Greet clients, visitors and vendors
    • Answer phones
    • Page medical providers and counselors
    • Facilitate counselor-patient flow
    • Answer inquiries from patients and public
    • Conflict resolution with clients
    • Monitor patient behavior and activity; collaborate with ETS Safety Officer as needed
    • Regular interaction with a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
  2. Administrative:
    • Regularly use the agency electronic medical records system to schedule appointments, provide schedule reminders to patients, indicate patient attendance
    • Provide medical schedules to providers
    • Assist intake staff with information flow to prospective patients seeking treatment
    • Maintain medical charts (filing, thinning, auditing, creating, archiving)
    • Miscellaneous filing
    • Social Security invoices and logging of charges
    • Update staff phone list
    • Maintain staff schedules and calendar (track absences and vacations)
    • Charge patients for missed medical appointments
    • Collect patient fees after close of financial office
    • Take and upload patient photos into electronic medical record
    • Copy forms and documents as needed
    • Route faxes
  3. Data Entry:
    • Data entry of services provided to patients for state billing purposes (e.g.,TARGET or SMART databases).
  4. Other duties as assigned.
