In addition, Associate Enrollment Counselors generate excitement and build rapport with potential students. Associate Enrollment Counselors also provide outstanding student service by answering questions and providing program information. A successful Associate Enrollment Counselor is expected to meet goals that are based on established benchmarks across various metrics and will collaborate with other WGU staff to serve students.

  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities
    • Makes outbound calls to prospective students
    • Takes inbound calls from prospective students
    • Must keep a positive and influential attitude with all students, colleagues, and university departments
    • Minimally performs when consistently handling 20 phone calls per hour
    • Verifies prospective students’ contact information on CRM (SalesForce)
    • Schedules appointments with and facilitates “live transfer” to Enrollment Counselors
    • Thoroughly understands WGU products, policies, and procedures
    • Provides accurate information and quality high customer service at all times
    • Receives and routes inbound calls to appropriate WGU personnel
    • Remain compliant with standards, guidelines, and policies as set forth by WGU and the U.S. Department of Education
  • Special Position Requirements
    • Must work set schedule with days that may include Saturday. The days of operation are Monday - Saturday
    • Able to consistently work 25 hours per week
