Please don’t apply for this position unless you:
● Get excited by a fun, crazy busy restaurant environment
● Enjoy engaging with customers of all types
● Easily deal with the challenges that come with late hours and alcohol consumption
● Take pride in producing great food and great times for our guests
● Love the idea of managing up to 30 people, keeping it professional and fun at the same time!

If you’re all in, here’s what we offer to our shift managers:

● Professional management training
● Free award-winning pizzas, sides and brews (if you’re 21+)

● Previous restaurant management experience
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Familiarity with POS systems

EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead by example! Be capable and willing to do any job or task in the restaurant. Work as hard or harder than any employee.
Make customers the first priority! Customers are to be treated courteously and fairly and receive fast efficient service. Pick up and in-house orders need to be ready in 10 to 20 minutes. Delivery orders should arrive at a residence within 25 to 40 minutes.
Professionally handle any and all customer complaints occurring during your shift.
Be accountable and responsible for actions by all crew members under your direct supervision. Always act in the best interest of Woodstock's Pizza.
Work closely with all pizza-makers to ensure that every pizza meets or exceeds Woodstock's superior quality standards. This also applies to salads, breads and any other food or beverage product.
Keep all employees working at peak performance while providing a fun working atmosphere and maintaining high employee morale. Employees need to be motivated, given constant feedback and treated fairly by all managers.
Adhere to all company policies and codes of conduct.
Keep the restaurant clean and attractive at all times. Supervise the cleaning and preparation items for the next shift. Maintain stock levels on all customer items.
Follow up on employee work. You are ultimately responsible for all employee work completed on your shift.
Make sure there is enough food prepared to last through the night. Call the prep manager if you run out of any product.
Accurately prepare all required paperwork.
Communicate all concerns to your General Manager.
Communicate any special or large orders to other managers or prep personnel.
Participate and prepare for both manager and full employee meetings.
Understand that you directly control the two biggest costs of running any restaurant: Labor and Inventory. Once again, do your best to keep both areas within company standards.
Work together with all employees to make Woodstock's Pizza a great restaurant and a fun place to work. Be flexible and creative with all your work.
