About this job
Automation Personnel Services in Decatur is looking for a Welding Assistant/Warehouse Associate for Decatur hollow metal shop. Candidates must have the following work history and experience reflected on current resume:
Experience welding hollow metal frames for a seamless appearance
Experience setting up frames properly prior to welding
Ability to read basic hardware templates and instructions and apply dimensions and requirements to the frame and/or a hollow metal door with accuracy
Ability to take direction from supervisor and work in a team environment
Other duties would include:
Inventory control
Sorting and stocking inventory upon arrival
Loading and unloading inventory upon customer request
Cleaning and sweeping and picking up debris in the warehouse
Assisting with any other aspect of the warehouse as needed
Make local deliveries to customers upon hire
Monday-Friday 7: 00am-3: 30, overtime is rare
Pay is completely dependent upon experience
Drug screen and DOT background is required.
