Role Vision:

“To be a Chick-fil-A restaurant of Growth, Opportunity, and Community.” This applies to Director Level Leadership as you are on a board of Directors that will guide the restaurant in the direction of our vision. You assist the Operator in conveying and demonstrating the vision of the restaurant and help make decisions based on that vision.

Responsibilities (This is what you are responsible for above and beyond your area of ownership.):

  • Be transparent with the Operator about the restaurant and any needs of the business.
  • Counsel/coach and document team members and leaders that are not meeting expectations or violating store policies.
  • Address any repairs or small wares needed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in our team member selection process by:
    • Conducting interviews 
    • Calling references.
    • Staying ahead of staffing levels informing Operations Director of any staffing needs immediately.
    • Calling applicants for interviews.
    • Attending Job Fairs.
  • Create, implement and follow through on planning for your area of ownership in the business. Pursue those goals with a relentless spirit.
  • Support other Directors with implementing the goals and plans for their areas of ownership.
  • Participate in creating the annual business plan for the restaurant. Review the plan quarterly and ensure we are on track and focused on our goals.
  • Conduct evaluations for team members.
  • Actively participate and be a leader in our bi-weekly leadership meetings.
  • Assist Operator with leadership promotions and evaluations by providing timely requested feedback.
  • Ensure the safety of our team and guests in the restaurant. Always have your eyes open to potential hazards and address those as quickly as possible.
  • Keep confidential any sensitive restaurant or personnel related information.
  • Maintain a strong focus on your personal development and own it.
  • Take real ownership for restaurant, the team, our guests, and our results. Keep focused on continuous improvement of yourself and others.
