JOB SUMMARY
This is an opportunity for an experienced paralegal to work in a dynamic and productive work environment in support of the Legal Department’s Employment Team. We prefer eight to ten years of paralegal experience with litigation or employment practice groups of a law firm or corporation, experience with SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and solid organizational skills.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Investigates the factual support for transactions or litigation, including the preparation of exhibits, charts and diagrams.

Reviews and drafts legal documents, correspondence and other materials requiring knowledge of legal terminology and document formats.

Organizes and tracks transaction and litigation files, including research, pleadings, discovery, and/or contract documents.

Obtains, organizes, and serves as point of contact for due diligence, litigation or projects.

Resolves routine legal issues under direction of supervising attorney.

Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, precedent, articles, codes and other legal resources.

Creates and maintains databases.

Drafts and issues legal holds when required.

Serves as liaison for internal clients, law firms, state and federal agencies, vendors, and customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in business or legal studies, Paralegal certification, related field, or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience
8 plus years paralegal or equivalent work experience
