PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the duties related to the receipt and shipment of materials and equipment. May assist with mobile staging and pre-pack functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Assists with the maintenance of inventory levels to meet department requirements. Delivers supplies to various departments and other sites as required. Assists with coordinating the receipt and shipment of materials and equipment. Drives a company vehicle to make deliveries and pickups. Fills orders and packages shipments. Stocks shelves with new inventory items. Assists with the maintenance of assigned locations to include grounds, property and physical assets, equipment repair and replacement. Is responsible for assuring adequate inventory and pre-packing of necessary supplies and equipment used to stage mobiles. Assists with preparation of packing supplies for storage of blood units collected on mobile blood drives and return of equipment and supplies to inventory after component processing is completed. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge/ Education High School graduate or GED required. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations preferred. Skills/Abilities Good communication and customer relation skills. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stretch, reach, and sit. Detail oriented. Personal computer skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
