PrideStaff is working with an established, employee-friendly, manufacturer in Kirkwood to locate an entry-level MACHINE OPERATOR to operate a CNC Vertical in a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
PAY: $12.00/hr - $13.00/hr (based on experience)
SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (Currently working OT. 5:30am - 4:00pm)
BENEFITS: Comprehensive available benefits upon hire
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Load product into machine
- Monitor product coming out of the machines
- Inspect fabricated product to ensure it meets specifications
- Verify settings by measuring positions and sample work pieces
- Measure manufactured items using micrometer and calipers
- CNC Lathe. CNC Vertical. CNC Horizontal. Computer Numerical Control. Machine Operation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanically-inclined
- Must have operated a CNC Vertical in the past
- Minimum of 6 months experience with machine operation or related field (Automotive, manufacturing, repair/service)
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Micrometer and caliper experience required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
