Geologist

Aerotek Energy is currently seeking 2 entry level geologist for a large nation wide company in Denver, Colorado (in state candidates only).

The primary responsibility of the geologist will be to sample and analyze core from oil and gas reservoirs. Candidates will be traveling across the country to retrieve core and will be bringing them back to the laboratory in Denver.

Responsibilities:

• Candidates will be traveling from well site to well site
• Collect core from well sites and taking back to the lab
• Assist senior laboratory personnel in setting up test in the lab
• Perform routine tests in the lab

Qualifications:

• 0-1 year experience as a geologist
• Associates/bachelors degree in Geology or Science
• Ability to travel on short notice
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at all hours of the day.
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Applicants must already be located in Colorado
