HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE is seeking a dynamic individual
who enjoys creating great first impressions!

 
As the Office Coordinator, you will be expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties.Your responsibilities will include answering the phones, greeting visitors, supporting other staff members with clerical tasks in order to provide the highest quality of service to clients. You might even be asked, on occasion, to care for a senior in their home. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly and professional manner and distribute calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a skilled manner and schedule Care Consultations
  • Assist with the hiring process for new CAREGivers by fielding employment inquiries from prospective candidates and helping to move applicants through the process
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the operating system
  • Assist with staffing shifts
  • Communicate client and CAREGiver concerns to the General Manager or other appropriate staff members
  • Assist with stuffing and mailing client invoices and CAREGiver paychecks
  • Organize and distribute the daily mail
  • Maintain organization of supplies and reorder as needed
  • Serve as a CAREGiver when called upon to do so
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with General Manager, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards of excellence are met and upheld
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • 21 years old or older
  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • CNA or HCA certification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must have knowledge of senior care industry
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues, and CAREGivers
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends, if necessary
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and a drug screening
