ARIA Technologies, Inc. is looking to hire a Purchasing Agent.
ARIA has been a supplier of fiber optic connectivity products to top tier customers for over 25 years.
Position Responsibilities:
Generate Purchase Orders as needed.
Track and report key metrics (ex. supplier defect rate and reducing material cost) to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Analyze supplier proposals.
Work with inventory to maintain a continuous flow of materials to support our production requirements.
Maintain records of items purchased, prices and deliveries.
Work with QC to notify vendors of rejected or defective product.
Position Requirements
Must be proficient in Microsoft productivity tools such as Word and Excel.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to work independently and as a member of the team.
Be dependable, reliable and capable of fulfilling responsibilities.
Previous experience as a Purchasing Agent is desired.
