Job Title: Lead IT Developer

Job Description:

Global Custom Commerce, Inc. (d/b/a Blinds.com), a Home Depot company, is hiring Lead IT Developers to develop and/or execute software testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Work independently on code features and back-end and front-end test applications for assigned projects, and participate in high-level architecture design and planning for features and web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. Maintain and improve performance of the e-commerce website functions and collaborate on technical development projects and new product launches. Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex issues requiring advanced evaluation of variable factors including hybrid mobile applications and web platforms. Design and/or configure software to optimize operational efficiency and align with business needs. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the duties above, utilize experience in the following technologies and skills: developing, designing and architecting code features and test applications to meet business requirements; developing and maintaining high scale e-commerce website functions including back-end process; improving website performance and security; automating manual processes to improve efficiency and performance.
