This position assists, solar panel cleaning, and work as a team to safely and successfully complete residential and commercial solar panel cleaning.Requirements: Previous roofing experience required Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Be able to lift 50-100 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday Attention to detail Quality control for the scope of work Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition Follow safety policies and procedures General cleanup of materials and debrisQualifications: Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used for cleaning solar panels. Based on ExperiencePer Diem: $30.00 and LodgingMore information about this job:JOB SUMMARY:The experienced residential PV Installer will be responsible for assisting photovoltaic system installation from beginning to end. In this position, the PV Installer will work side by side with other crew members and install all photovoltaic system components, while assisting in the operation of a fully functional photovoltaic system. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work with crew members to complete projects within established policies and proceduresAssemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipmentInstall all rack grounding and DC wiring. Install and connect modules per plan.Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safetyDiagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issuesCommunicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your abilityUnderstand the full scope of work for a given projectADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Recommends to supervisor work assignments of employees in various job groups.May substitute for supervisor in his/her absence.May relieve employees in the group during breaks, lunch, etc.Performs other duties and projects as assigned.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
