Position Summary:

The Food Manufacturing Production Worker is responsible for the performance of routine tasks involved in manufacturing food products. 1 year of experience in food manufacturing environment preferred or relevant work history.

  • Able to work in fast paced inspecting, sorting and hand packing/cup lines of products as required by company specifications
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform all duties in a safe efficient manner and wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to protective- toe safety shoe (if needed) and hearing protection in designated areas.
  • Maintain and be responsible for the cleanliness of immediate work area; contribute to the overall cleanliness of the facility.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices at all times to prevent product contamination
  • While performing the duties the daily essential production line functions, employees are regularly required to stand, talk (especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly and quickly) hear, use of hands to finger, handle or feel, push / pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands / arms through the shift.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and organization
  • Communicate concerns, issues, problems to shift supervisor and/ or manager in a timely manner.
  • Possess/maintain good attendance and work record
  • Perform any other duties required or assigned by shift leader or manager

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is normally required.
  • Must be quality oriented.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to communicate, read and write in basic English (Spanish is a PLUS)
  • Able to work in a team driven environment
  • Able to work in a face pace environment
  • Able to stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to understand directives and other instructions
  • Possess good hand and eye coordination
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene

Working Hours:

  • Able and willing to work overtime when required
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts Days (6am-6pm) or Night (6pm-6am)
