Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

Worked will be performed on 3 30MW solar farms. The first project will be in Estill, SC, the second in Hampton, SC, and the third in Cameron, SC.

Candidates must be able and have previous experience working outdoors in the summer heat.

Electrician experience in a commercial or industrial construction setting is acceptable.

They need to be able to work 6 days a week 8-10 hours a day.

-For first 3 weeks - they will be doing foundation work, setting the invertors, running underground conduit, and cable pulling, medium voltage cable.
-Experience with Terminations of wire
-Knowledge of NEC codes
-Qualified Electricians should have some of their own tools
-No certifications are needed but would be great.
-Certifications to look for are a Journeyman certification or a NCCER certification.
-Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
-Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
-Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
-Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
-Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment as needed.
-Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
-Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
-Interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring.
-Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.
