Position Title Lead Electrician - Middle East

United States of America - Virginia

Job Summary

AECOM has multiple electrician positions located in the Middle East. Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, and make necessary tests on all electrical systems and equipment 600v or less throughout the facilities.

+ Work from prints, diagrams, specification, and instructions covering emergency and scheduled repairs; as well as demolition, installation, testing, and inspection of work to be done on electrical systems.

+ Certified as a Master Electrician in one of the 50 US states

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in the electrical trade in maintenance or construction

+ Two years of supervisory experience

+ Appropriate state and local licenses

+ Perform preventive maintenance, repair, or replacement of electrical equipment on AC and/or DC systems.

+ Analyze, troubleshoot, modify, install, and repair electrical equipment and circuits using prints, diagrams, and test instruments.

+ Test, inspect, clean, repair, dismantle, adjust, replace, assemble, maintain and lubricate all manual or automatic AC and DC systems, electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, regulators, and various other electrical apparatus.

+ Excellent safety record, working knowledge of safety standards for electrical equipment maintenance and repair

+ Experience in battery maintenance and installation

+ Experienced in reading blueprints and able to perform material take-offs from prints

+ Good leadership skills

+ Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management

+ Prepare and maintain records and reports on electrical systems equipment, as required for maintenance programs on the basis of all information obtained through tests.

+ Install conduit, wiring and electrical apparatus.

+ Perform other job related duties, as assigned.

+ Maintain part and tool inventories.

Minimum Requirements

+ Masters Electrical License.

+ Thorough working knowledge of national and local electrical codes.

+ Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.

+ A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required.

+ 2 years supervisory experience

+ Secret Security Clearance Required.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Ability to write correspondence.

+ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
