Our Lady of Peace is currently hiring for an AssessmentClinician 2.

Evaluates individuals seekingbehavioral health/substance use treatment and seeks justification foradmission. Conducts evaluations at localhospitals, Our Lady of Peace, and other community agencies and facilities. Refers patients to appropriate services andassists in the intake process for those patients admitted. Determines provisional diagnosis anddiscusses treatment recommendations with patient, family, and medicalproviders. Coordinates level of careexpectations with physicians, Assessment Referral Center, personnel, patientcare units, and external agencies.

Develops relationships withcommunity partners by consistently providing quality services. Conducts insurance pre-certifications forindividuals evaluated. May provideassessment services for various patient populations including pediatric, adolescent,adult, and geriatric. KentuckyOneMedical Staff and Board of Directors under the EMTALA policy considerAssessment Referral Center Clinicians who are employed by the hospital, andqualified to perform emergency screening exams/assessments by education,experience, and demonstrated current competence as "Qualified Medical Persons"to conduct emergency behavioral health and substance use screening exams.

Education /Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

Master's Degree in Social Work or other related fieldrequired.

Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LicensedProfessional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(LMFT) or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) in the state of Kentuckyrequired.

OR - For Mobile Assessment Clinicians only -- If candidatehas MSN (Master's degree in Nursing) -- no experience is required.

Ability to complete Healthcare Provider/Basic Life Supportand safe crisis management training and to perform as needed required.

Experience (requiredand preferred):

One year of experience in mental health field andprevious experience in crisis intervention or an assessment/diagnostic settingpreferred.

For Mobile Assessment Clinicians -- valid driver's licenserequired.

* For those hired after November 14,2016, KentuckyOne Health will verify education required by the position,through primary source verification, prior to beginning employment. Educationverification will also include the collection of a high school diploma orequivalent, transcript, or other written validation of education.
