Under general supervision, this position provides for maintaining electrical equipment and distribution systems in safe operations. Makes repairs, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, installs and performs safety testing on all electrical components.
Performance
Performs significant preventative maintenance and safety test and repairs, as well as installation of new electrical equipment and systems. must complete all necessary record keeping for work orders received and safety testing performed. assist in the requisition of materials needed for repair or replacement of electrical systems and components. Must maintain up-to-date knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA and other regulatory agencies or standards. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Completed apprenticeship program, satisfied licensing requirements for Master electrician (required)
5-7 years minimum experience (required)
HVAC control voltage experience (required)
Emergency generator systems experience (required)
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent team skills.
Healthcare experience is highly preferred
